Another WIP and an another old friend from the loft !

Hello to you all on this very blustery Sunday, here in the U.K. !
All the snow has melted away...much easier for walking the dog !!!
I somehow have managed to get myself a nice COLD and CHEST INFECTION......
Great isn't it, I hate feeling poorly....Lets hope it disappears quickly !!!
Anyway, I'd like to show you my latest Work In Progress, this actually gives me a total of about five projects on the go at the moment..........

And this is the kit by Elsa Williams...................................................

This is my ultimate, sumptuous, guilty extravagance.............................................
Oh well, you only live once.........might as well enjoy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also thought I might show you an 'Old Friend' from many years ago that I found in the loft...................................Called 'Butterfly Elegance ' in cross stitch .................

Have a great Sunday, and thank you for popping by...............................xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  1. The Chelsea Pillow is a real jewel, especially with your neat stitching. Wasn't it nice to find that delicate butterfly in the loft on a cold winter's day?
I'm sorry to hear you are feeling unwell. Keep warm, take care and get better soon.
    All the best,
    Queenie

  5. Been busy elsewhere but I do catch up, sorry that you posted 22 hours before I saw it. It is beautiful but oh dear with so many projects on the go at once you will not know what to do next. Really lovely and that poor butterfly in the loft, I wonder whether you knew it was there!
Are you still going to join all your lovely work from 2012 into one block, perhaps that is another project waiting to happen. Get well soon, hope your lovely creativity helps you feel better. xx

  7. Hello Chris! I hope that your health is improving, I love the projects that you are doing, your new kit looks exciting. The cross stitch work that you found in the attic is gorgeous, it deserves to be put in a frame.

  10. Love your work Chris. The Butterfly is brilliant and I can't believe you had it in the loft and not out on show. The Chelsea pillow looks wonderful and I can imagine it will look beautiful when finished. I'm loving the crewel and wish I was brave enough to give it a go. I was a bit ham fisted when being taught Hardanger by Vicki from India Grace designs (who was very patient bless her) so can't imagine what I'd be like with crewel.
Just reading through your blog and realised you are Dave's mum (I'm Laura's mum - as in Matt and Laura), looks from the pictures on facebook like he is having a great time but I'm sure you have missed him.
