TAST 2012 CRETAN STITCH WEEK 4 !

Hello all, on this frosty UK morning ! This week on the TAST challenge, the stitch to be used was CRETAN

stitch ! When I started this mandala, I had no plan as to what it would become and low and behold, I've ended up with an underwater theme......which I am quite pleased with. I have used DMC 6 strand , pearl 8 , 5 and 12 threads, lots of beads and french knots....hope you like it and once again thank you for visiting my blog  xxxxxxx

  9. Can't help but add my name to the congratulations, it is really lovely, Cretan isn't a stitch I had heard of either. Very pretty, I just can't imagine what the completed piece will be like, there will be nothing else like it in the world that's for certain.
