Hello my lovely followers, this week its chain stitch ! Tried to go off the wall a little bit with this one ! I have used black card shapes with metal brads ( left over from my cardmaking days ) Lots of gold fingering yarn and lots of square beads.........A bit of a wacky colour scheme and there you have it.......I very much appreciate your time in giving me comments, they mean a lot to me, thank you all !!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I cant believe the detail in your work, Wonderful. XX
ReplyDeleteI love the metallic that changes color along the chain. Lovely work.
ReplyDeleteYour stitching is glorious and I love all the bright colors. Hugs Judy
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful mandala Chris!
ReplyDeleteNice work Chris
ReplyDeleteYou constantly surprise me with your various designs. This week, bold and striking, and BEAUTIFUL. The close up pictures prove how even your stitches are. I learn so much from your work.
ReplyDeleteI've been Pinning your TAST mandalas because I find each of them beautiful and creative (I absolutely do include the link back to your blog for each Pin!), but I find this mandala especially striking. The way you did the stitching along the outer edge to create a unique shape is quite neat. And I love the use of the scrapbooking brads -- I've used them before in embroidery projects and love the dimension they add.
ReplyDeleteExquisite!!Love every bit of it..
ReplyDeleteThe gold threads and the black outer edge which gives it a slightly different shape this week does it for me, well done times a hundred.
ReplyDeleteI love your embroideries!
ReplyDeleteChris, this is a beauty again! :) I love your ideas and your forms.
