Hello folks....the sun is shining this morning here in the UK ! My son left at 7am this morning, to start his new
job.........Today he boards 'The ventura' cruise ship, bound for the Caribbean islands !! He is the leader of a five piece band and this is their first big break......WHOOOHOOO !!!!!
But the down side for me is that I will not see him again until 22nd March 2013 !!!
Tears, I've cried a few this morning......................
So, back to my stitching obsession............Due to an horrendously busy week, I only have a little bit to show you, and will need to catch up with this one................
I have also purchased some rather interesting Japanese floss called 'COSMO SEASONS ' !
A beautiful variegated floss that is not sold here in the UK.........I had to buy it on 'ETSY'.........
quite expensive but well worth it !!!
Well thats it for today folks............Have a great week end all..............
BON VOYAGE my son.......Till we meet again...................LOVE YOU ...........................
What a beauty !!!!!!! and the pleasing colours makes it an amazing piece !!!!!! Love all your works.

ReplyDeleteWell, your small sample is absolutely gorgeous, Chris! Beautiful colors and the weaving is perfect. I don't think it needs anything added to it. I have to say also that your photography is pretty good, too. Glad I came to see some more TAST links! Good luck to your son. Do you guys use Skype? It would really help to stay in touch better with him.
ReplyDeleteI adore the picot stitch and your color choices are delightful. Beautiful work. Can I please share some of your images on my blog, www.fiberluscious.blogspot.com? I would link back to you of course. You've been on my blog list forever and I enjoy following all of your beautiful stitching.
