TAST 2012 SATIN STITCH WEEK 14

Hello people, well this week it was 'satin stitch ! I really struggled with this one....mostly due to the fact that the whole family has been ill and as we speak, I have a horrible head cold !! I need to get well....I am so fed up with feeling ill !! Anyway, I managed to do a little eye candy for you all....hope you like it and have a lovely Easter holiday !!!!

Crochet therapy !!

Hello, you lovely people.......I am feeling so much better and gaining strength now ! For some strange reason, I had this insatiable urge to crochet, the last couple of days......so dear hubby treated me to a beautiful new crochet motif book and I am loving it !

I have managed to make a few motifs from the book and my Grandaughter Ella-mae has decided she would like a cushion with flowers on....so I have my work cut out !!
I am quite dtermined to learn to read a crochet pattern !

Here in the UK we have a traditional sunday roast dinner and this is my husband dropping a massive hint, that it was time to stop crocheting and get the sunday dinner cooked !!!!!!!
In case you were wondering....that is a large 'Broccoli' down my front !

SOMETHING MISSING !

Hello all, I am so sorry but I have nothing to show this week.......I have been struck down with a sickness virus,
and am very poorly ! I am just starting to gain strength and shall provide some eye candy as soon as I am able !
The TAST CHALLENGE  is having a catch-up week for those who are falling behind, so I chose the right week to be ill........I do hope you all out there are well, have a great week end and once again please forgive me.......

TAST 2012 BARRED CHAIN STITCH WEEK 12

Hello people, yes another week has flown by and I have another mandala to show you all ! I decided to do something a little different with this one.......I have just learnt to do a little 'TATTING', so I have added some tatted flowers ! The stitch this week, I found quite hard to do......I did have difficulty getting my head around it,
but alas, it all came right in the end....but dear Sharon, I certainly did struggle!!! Please give us a nice easy stitch next week (or the week after, if its a catch up week ) I adore this challenge.......it keeps me focused !!

TAST 2012 WHIPPED WHEEL WEEK 11

Hello people, Its that time of the week again, and I have another beaded mandala to share with you !! The stitch for week 11 is whipped wheels and I must say this is such a creative stitch for me......My mind just buzzes with this stitch.....I swear I could have done so much more of these little beauties !! The main focus was a very large bead which I covered in crochet.... ( I would love to make a bowl full of large crocheted beads....so CHIC !),

lots of whipped wheels, pearls, beads, sparkle......OH WOW I SO LOVED THIS WEEK!!

TAST 2012 RUNNING STITCH WEEK 10
