My first Bead Journal project...Jan 2013 !


Hi everyone, Just completed my first project for the BJP...............................



 Decided on a black background to enhance the colours and the design........


 I have tried to use different techniques....ie bead stacking, bead branches etc.



                All in all, I am very happy with the result !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


                  And last but not least.........This was taken in my garden this morning

    Absolutely beautiful Chris and the colours look amazing against the dark background..love how you have once again used beads to enhance your work.
    We had more snow last night so not sure whether I will be venturing out to patchwork today!

    Black is a good colour to work colourful stitches and beads on. It's like a night sky with stars and fireworks, or the neon signs in a big city.
    Charming visitor to your garden!

    This is a wonderful piece of work Chris, I love the blue circle of beads and all the colours that you have used against the black background looks great. I will look forward to your next bead project.

    This piece has great movement and balance - your eye first sees it as a whole and then takes in each motif. Great job!

    The colours look marvellous together, the black does it justice. Just the right amount in the stack, beautifully carried out.
    The robin is so bright and looks at home with the snow. Awesome.
